Following on from last year's takeover of Google's UK HQ by 100 Guides, in 2020 we've got the opportunity for 100 Brownies to do the same!
Girls will have the opportunity to complete and earn Google's Digital Adventure badge. They'll also have the opportunity to experience virtual reality using Google Cardboard (virtual reality headset glasses) and experiment with animation. Furthermore, there will be breakout spots where Google's latest technology will be available to explore. Lunch will be provided, too!
There are 100 places for this opportunity. Leaders can book places for 10 girls and two leaders, and these groups can be made up from girls from a single unit or girls from a combination of different units.
The booking link went live on 2 December at 9am and closed at 9am on 3 December. A ballot will be taken and successful units will hear from us within two weeks. We regret that we will not be able to contact leaders who were not successful.
