"Nights Away" badges

Spending a night away from home with guiding friends is one of the highlights of being a member. To celebrate going away with guiding, you can gain badges as part of LaSER's "Nights Away scheme".

There will be badges for 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 75, 100, 150 and 200 nights away. They can be awarded to any members - Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Senior Section and Adults - once they've completed the required number of nights. Girls can wear the badges on their uniform if they wish to.

To take part you will need a "Nights Away" record card, which can be obtained through your county, from your outdoor activities adviser or from  LaSER RHQ.

Every time you spend a night or more away, record it on your card, and then apply to your county contact for the badge when you're ready.
