" I’ve made some wonderful friends and met people from all over the world through guiding. It’s fantastic! "

The Switch Project group based in the Gurkha barracks in Folkestone received a visit from Joanna Lumley who has been campaigning for Gurkha veterans in the UK.
Folkestone is the base of the Royal Gurkha Rifles Regiment of the British Army and home to over 200 Nepalese families.
The group plans to continue as a multi-age guiding unit when the Switch project ends.
