Chigwell Row

Chigwell Row is a delightful site set in the Essex countryside on the edge of Hainault Forest, but within easy reach of London. It has equipped and unequipped sites, all with solid shelter, and use of flush toilets. Hot showers available.

There are three houses, two for 25 and one for 13. These are fully equipped but users will need to bring their own bedding including pillows.

Oaklands Lodge:

3 rooms for 6, 2 double and 1 for 3 - mostly bunk beds, showers, 3 toilets, fully equipped kitchen, central heating, dining room and recreation room. Suitable for people with disabilities.

Jubilee House:

1 dormitory for 18 (bunks), 2 double and 1 for 3, one shower, wash room, 3 toilets, fully equipped kitchen, central heating, dining room and recreation room. Suitable for people with disabilities.

The Bungalow:

1 room for 8 (bunks), 1 for 2 (bunks), living room with
3 z-beds, kitchen, toilet, shower and wash basins.

Activities on site:

Grass Sledges, Indoor Climbing Wall, Pedal Go-Karting, Archery, Pioneering, Trails, several small games e.g. Boules, Campfire Circles and Camp Chapel. There is a well-stocked Tuck and Souvenir Shop.

Activities available locally:

Ice-Skating, Bowling, Swimming, Sailing, Hainault Country Park - Forest Walks, Rare Breed Animals. London Eye - approx. 1 hour away.

The site is available for evening or day booking as well as weekends, weeks or mid-week.
