Queen's Award for Voluntary Service

If you know a group of volunteers who devote their time to helping others in the community and improve the quality of life and opportunity for others, nominate them for The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service now!The Queen's Award is a UK National Honour (equivalent to an MBE) launched to celebrate the Queen's Golden Jubilee in 2002 and will be awarded to outstanding voluntary organisations nominated by their local community. Nomination forms can be submitted at any time during the year, and The Office of the Third Sector is keen to receive new nominations for voluntary groups, including those involved with youth, minority and rural communities. Just go to www.queensawardvoluntary.gov.uk for more details on the Awards and to download a nomination form electronically.
