The main areas where local guiding is likely to fall foul of these branding regulations is in using:
A Girlguiding national resource has been developed and will be launched shortly, this will contain a badge. Girlguiding has been authorised to produce this ONE item as it has been recognised for it's good work but this does not allow for us to reproduce this item in any way locally.
Please be aware that as recognised charities in your own right you locally, not Girlguiding nationally, would be liable for any fines that may be levied and these could be considerable.
Girlguiding UK publications - guidelines
These guidelines have been introduced to create a professional, recognisable identity across Girlguiding UK publications, from national to local level. Please share these guidelines with whoever is designing your publication.
The guidelines reinforce the use of our Corporate Colours and introduce uniform Secondary Colours so that Girlguiding UK publications are easily recognisable.
If it all seems very complicated, try using one of the pre-prepared templates in the Publication templates folder to create a booklet, newsletter or Annual Review in the corporate style.
