The world's first all female crew on a Class A Ship took part in the Tall Ships Race 2008. Forty Senior Section members and ten professional crew members from the Jubilee Sailing Trust manned the STS Lord Nelson, the first tall ship designed to allow able bodied and disabled people to sail together as equals.
