LaSER is now offering Safe Space Level 3 as a virtual training session. As you will be aware it will soon become mandatory for all volunteers to complete the required level of Safe Space for their role.
Level 3 explains what to do if someone tells you a concern, allegation or disclosure and how to recognise a concern. It will be delivered on Zoom in one session which will be around 3 hours long, with a short break. Please note - to take part you will need to ensure your levels 1 and 2 are in date.
Each session will be limited to 16 spaces, allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Further dates for A Safe Space trainings will be announced on a rolling basis. If you have any questions or require further information, please contact info@girlguidinglaser.org.uk.
Note: For those who haven’t completed their Level 3 please consider if you would be eligible for the Recognised Prior Learning option. This option may be possible if you normally work within a safeguarding field or are the designated safeguarding lead for your work. More details can be found on the Girlguiding website.
