Raspberry Ripple - 1 May 2014

Yellow is the new Raspberry!

Taking your Brownies away this term? We want to hear from you!

All across LaSER there are Big Brownie Birthday events happening throughout this whole term, from Middlesex North West’s holiday this weekend to Surrey East’s Starquest later this month.

We know that all the Brownies are going to have a fantastic time making new friends, learning new things and, most importantly, having lots of fun, so we want to hear from them.

After your event, select a couple of your best photos and gather together some quotes from the girls. Send them to Jacky and the Raspberry Ripple team will do their best to feature them in an upcoming issue.

Not sure what photos to send in? Posed shots can be lovely but photos that catch the girls in action are even better. Did someone make their promise or was there a special occasion you want everyone to see? Or is there a photo that compliments a quote you’ve collected?

Remember, you must have parental permission before you can send the photos to us.

We look forward to hearing from you and be sure to check out the quote on the last page from Sussex East’s PGL last weekend.

Hassocks Brownies run for sport relief

On a lovely evening back in March, 1st Hassocks Brownies were seen running around their local park as they did the ‘mile run’ in aid of sport relief. Not only did they have a fantastic time enjoying all the fresh air and exercise with their friends, it also tied in nicely with the healthy heart badge. More importantly, they managed to raise a fantastic £889.30 for Sport Relief. Move over Davina!!!

Quote from the girls:

“Wish we could stay here longer. Love that we were able to do so many activities.”
