The Lord Mayor’s Show celebrated its 800th anniversary on Saturday 14 November and this year it was Girlguiding Middlesex East County’s turn to take centre stage!
The girls chose to create the Lady Baden Powell ship in line with the new Lord Mayor’s interest of all things maritime! Inflatable boats paddled and the girls hooted throughout the city with Brownies and Guides lining the route, there was always someone to cheer Girlguiding Middlesex East County on!
A big thank you to Girlguiding Kent West County and Girlguiding Sussex Central County who provided all 7,000 lunches to the participants of the parade.
