Coronation Challenge

The Coronation of The King and The Queen Consort will be a historic and special occasion. Our Coronation Challenge encourages you to have fun whilst celebrating and learning about King Charles III and the Coronation!

Below is a list of ideas that you can try. Every unit district, division and county is different and there are no rules about what you have to do to achieve this badge. We want you to feel free to design your own way to take on this challenge. Whatever you choose to do to celebrate, please share with us on social media by using the hashtag #LaSERCoronationChallenge and tagging us. Most of all, we hope you enjoy our Coronation Challenge!

  • Invite someone in to talk to your unit who remembers the Coronation of King Charlesโ€™ mother Queen Elizabeth II
  • If you were in charge of the Coronation concert, what songs would you choose? Perhaps make a playlist of them and have a disco with those songs

  • King Charles has been busy in many different Royal roles before he became King. Find out about these roles and what they involved
  • King Charles is 74 years old. Who else has started their career in their seventies?
