Spending a night away from home with guiding friends is one of the highlights of being a member and to celebrate going away with guiding, you can gain badges!
Nights Away scheme
There are badges for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15, 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 175, 200, 225, 250, 275 and 300 nights away. They can be awarded to any members – Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Rangers and adults – once they’ve completed the required number of nights. Girls can wear the badges on their uniform if they wish to.
How to take part?
Every time you spend a night or more away, record it on your Nights Away record card, then apply to your county badge secretary for the badge when you’re ready – enjoy and have fun!
If your county does not have a badge secretary or you are unable to reach them, please submit the region member order form below.
