We're looking for volunteers to be considered to lead one of the region's International Expeditions in 2020. We're happy to consider individual applications and applications from unit or district leadership teams!
If successful, you could be going to India, the Philippines, Kenya or China!
Far more than just a ‘holiday’, these expeditions involve over a year of planning and preparation to provide an immersive cultural experience, a two-to-three week service project and an opportunity to meet Girl Guides or Girl Scouts from the country you are visiting.
Your aims will include ensuring your group of around fifteen Rangers has an interesting and rewarding time. You will help them enter fully into the programme and encourage them to use their talents for the benefit of the group and to help everyone get as much as possible out of their experience.
Leaders of our 2020 International Expeditions will receive financial support from region - 40% of the total expedition cost, up to £1200.
