Peer education information session

Becoming a peer educator is about changing the world – one girl at a time! Join us for an interactive online information session to find out more about being a peer educator.

Peer educators, aged 14 – 25, are trained to deliver sessions on topics that matter to girls today. Girls are more likely to listen to those who are of a similar age to them. Peer educators draw on their own experiences allowing girls to fully engage and relate and empower younger girls to combat issues they may face in life, inspiring them and equipping them with life-long skills. Read more about peer educators here.

Join us for an interactive online information session hosted by the region peer education Coordinator, Vicky, to:

  • Discover what peer education is
  • Hear from current peer educators
  • Meet the peer education trainers
  • Sample a peer-led activity
  • Find out how to get involved
  • Ask questions

If you are under 18 please, forward a completed virtual meeting consent form to info@girlguidinglaser.org.uk.

Peer Education is unique, as it allows girls to explore and discover different topics and ideas, in a fun and comfortable environment. Not only do the girls have fun, but they learn skills for life, and because the activities are fun, they remember what they have discovered!
