Welcome to Aqua News!

01_White

Hi I’m Katie Stone, the Lead Volunteer for Aqua News. I’ve had some amazing experiences as part of The Senior Section and I feel very privileged and lucky to have had all these amazing opportunities. I want to try and ensure all TSS members know about everything that’s available to them, especially during 2016 - The Senior Section Spectacular centenary year!

After the success of Raspberry Ripple, the Region eNewsletter for volunteers, I thought “Why can’t there be an eNewsletter just for TSS members, with only information and opportunities relevant to them so that no one misses out?” And so that’s how we came about Aqua News.

Over the last five months I’ve been working closely with staff members at the Region Office and Region volunteers to create Aqua News, an eNewsletter that follows a similar format to Raspberry Ripple but is for The Senior Section written by The Senior Section.

We hope Aqua News encourages more TSS members to take up all the fantastic opportunities 2016 will bring. You’re not in The Senior Section forever and 2016 is really going to be a spectacular year!

Aqua News will be emailed to all TSS members in Girlguiding LaSER once a term using email addresses held on Go! If you’re a Leader who has a TSS member in your unit team please ensure their details are on Go! and TSS members please ensure your details are correct on Go! Parents/Guardians may need to be aware that they will receive the eNewsletter if their email address is the one that’s registered and that they have to forward it on. Just like the Raspberry Ripple all of the information, events, news and articles seen in the Aqua News will also be on the Girlguiding LaSER website in The Senior Section area under News.

Best wishes,

Katie
