I have been a Guide leader for 3 years and I love it! Our Monday meetings are definitely the highlight of my week. I have a lot of experience regarding leadership throughout my career and I am looking forward to applying some of these skills to my new role as one of the leader development programmer specialist volunteers. Being new (ish) to Girlguiding I have recently been through the leadership qualification (LQ) and I am now a mentor for leaders in training. I look forward to making the transition process as smooth as possible to ensure our new leaders have a great experience and go on to lead for many many fulfilling years.
