  • The new Guide uniform unveiled!
    We thought it was time to give the guiding uniform an overhaul! After consulting girls from across the country, the opportunity to design the uniform was given to five young women – Kate, Jess, Megan, Hattie and Georgia – studying fashion at Arts University Bournemouth (AUB).   • The Senior Section Curate Exhibition at The Wiener Library
    Hannah, Natalie and Maddie from The Senior Section have curated a special exhibition at The Wiener Library to mark International Youth Day. The exhibition runs from Monday 18 August to Friday 19 September with free entry. Read their blog
  • 100 years of Brownies. The #BigBrownieBirthday at 10 Downing Street!
    To celebrate 100 years of Brownies we sent 15 girls from Girlguiding LaSER to visit Number 10 Downing Street! In total 100 girls from across the country went to discuss their hopes for girls in the future with David Cameron! Read all about their adventure

    On 4 August 1914, when Britain declared war on Germany, the lives of men and women everywhere were set to change. Here we take a look at how the war had an impact on women, and in particular guiding members. As men were sent to war across the channel, women were needed to step into the workforce. .

    A team of young designers – all former Brownies – has created a special limited-edition T-shirt for the Debenhams Red Herring range. They are available in Debenhams’ high street shops and via its online store, and the proceeds will help fund our vital work. Take a look at the t-shirt

Girlguiding London and South East England Region (LaSER) is the leading charity for girls and young women in London and the South East – with over 81,000 fantastic Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Senior Section members and volunteers. We give girls a space where they can be themselves, have fun, build brilliant friendships, gain valuable life skills and make a positive difference to their lives and their communities. We build girls’ confidence and raise their aspirations. We give them the chance to discover their full potential and encourage them to be a powerful force for good!
