Inspire (18-30)
Be part of our community having adventures, gaining skills and making memories to last a lifetime. Inspire is our community for volunteers and members aged 18 to 30, and is fun, flexible and tailored to you.
If you’re aged 18–30, you’re automatically a member of inspire, a network for our young volunteers. Whether you want to travel the world, build your CV, support girls or simply have fun with new friends, you can do it with Girlguiding Inspire. There are loads of ways to get involved. Some opportunities are through volunteering with local Girlguiding units, others you can do on your own.
What you can do
When you're a part of Inspire, you take the lead on your own journey within 1 of 7 pathways. You can follow 1 particular pathway. Or, because we’re all different, mix and match to create a new path just for you. Check out some of the things you can do on the Girlguiding website.
Join our region Inspire community
We are excited to announce the launch of Inspire in Girlguiding London and South East England. We are a community of young members wanting to gain skills, meet new friends, have fun and make memories. There are lots of ways to get involved locally, in your county or in the region, and you can take part in as much or little as you like. Complete this form to be added to the Inspire WhatsApp group.
Create our visual identity
We want to create a visual identity that allows our Inspire members to feel united across the region, so to celebrate the launch of Inspire in Girlguiding London and South East England, we invite you to enter our necker/scarf design competition! The winning design will be chosen by our Inspire lead volunteers, and will also be developed for our Inspire badge, channels and communications.
What your design needs to include
All designs need to include the word Inspire (in the correct Girlguiding colours) and the Girlguiding London and South East England logo. You can download these elements to help with your design. Think about what colours you want the scarf to be, including the borders. See here for examples created by other regions/countries.
