Our site occupies an area of 56 acres of grassland, providing a safe and spacious place for on-site activities.
We have three indoor accommodation buildings and a campsite. We have a variety of amenities for you to make use of during your stay, as well as a shop selling sweets & souvenirs, a chapel, campfire circles, backwoods fire lighting areas, a wet-weather shelter, a Training Room, and games field space available to all campsite visitors.
The site has a resident, full-time warden and is open all year round. It is suitable for any member of Girlguiding or Scouts as well as other youth organisations and school groups.
The many on-site activities make the site a suitable base for weekend or week-long stays, as well as day and evening visits.
We also have sites suitable for those working on the Duke of Edinburgh Award, Patrol Camp permits, etc. Please contact us to ask for details.
Instruction can be provided for various activities - make sure you request this when booking.
