Drop in with the region walking adviser

Fresh air, beautiful views and good exercise - discover them all when you're out on a walk with Girlguiding. Find out more at our online drop in with Helen, region walking adviser.

Walking with girls is an adventure. Whether you're orienteering through fields, or exploring the parks and canals, it's a chance to discover the natural world, exercise and spend time together. Leading fun walks and expeditions builds girls' and young women's confidence, as well as giving them time out in the open air to think and recharge. Further afield, girls can walk in remote and wild areas building resilience and gaining highly respected awards such as the Duke of Edinburgh's award and Queen's Guide award.

Want to find out how to get started, have a question or need some support? Drop in to chat with Helen, the region walking adviser on zoom. This drop in is aimed at any adult wanting to become more confident in going out with a unit, or with other adults.
