Dear [insert name]
I am contacting you to let you know about Guiding for Good week, which is happening from 4 -12 October 2025.
The week gives our young members the opportunity to live out our Girlguiding promise to serve the community and help others, as well as the chance to raise awareness of today’s Girlguiding and the opportunities we offer to our young members, in line with our ‘Girls can do anything‘ mission.
During this dedicated week and beyond our young members will be getting involved in a range of activities which serve our local community, from volunteering with local charities, visits to residential homes and ‘on the ground’, activity such as litter picking to providing support for local events and helping with local conservation projects.
Please let me know if there are any council-led activities or projects around the time of the week that our members could help with that provide an opportunity for volunteering.
We would also like to invite you to visit our unit [insert unit details] during the week so that you can see our unit in action and hear more about this initiative. Our meeting nights are [insert day and time] and I know our young members would be really delighted to meet you.
I look forward to hearing from you.
