Contact your local councillors to tell them about Guiding for Good. If you don't already have a project in mind, you could ask whether there are current community projects that need volunteers. You can search here:

The week gives our young members the opportunity to live out our Girlguiding promise to serve the community and help others, as well as the chance to raise awareness of today’s Girlguiding and the opportunities we offer to our young members, in line with our ‘Girls can do anything‘ mission.
During this dedicated week and beyond our young members will be getting involved in a range of activities which serve our local community, from volunteering with local charities, visits to residential homes and ‘on the ground’, activity such as litter picking to providing support for local events and helping with local conservation projects.
