2027 International Adventures

Taking part in an international trip with Girlguiding London and South East England includes making and travelling with new friends from across the region, meeting local Guides or Scouts while you’re away, visiting places of cultural and natural interest and trying new and exciting activities. You will develop lots of new life skills and create memories with a new group of friends.

You will be part of a team of Guides, Rangers and young leaders and a group of adult leaders and together you will plan your international adventure. You are likely to be away for between 2-3 weeks and will have three preparation weekends before setting off, in order to get to know your team.

We expect the cost of the adventure, depending on the trip to be in region of £2,200 to £3,200 and as this is an international guiding adventure you will be encouraged to do fundraising and apply for grants to support this.

We’re currently exploring lots of exciting destinations for our 2027 teams – perhaps interrailing across Europe, backpacking in Southeast Asia, attending a Jamboree in Canada or discovering South America. Wherever the groups travel, the focus will be on exploring, connecting with local Guides and Scouts, and travelling thoughtfully, with the environment always in mind.
