Are you ready for an international adventure? Would you like to travel and explore the world with other members of Girlguiding? Are you going to be aged between 14-18 in the summer of 2027?
You will be part of a team of Guides, Rangers and young leaders and a group of adult leaders and together you will plan your international adventure. You are likely to be away for between 2-3 weeks and will have three preparation weekends before setting off, in order to get to know your team.
We expect the cost of the adventure, depending on the trip to be in region of £2,200 to £3,200 and as this is an international guiding adventure you will be encouraged to do fundraising and apply for grants to support this.
We’re currently exploring lots of exciting destinations for our 2027 teams – perhaps interrailing across Europe, backpacking in Southeast Asia, attending a Jamboree in Canada or discovering South America. Wherever the groups travel, the focus will be on exploring, connecting with local Guides and Scouts, and travelling thoughtfully, with the environment always in mind.
To express an interest in being part of a region international adventure in Summer 2027, please complete this form with your parents/guardians before midnight on 31 March 2026.
Application formAfter applications have closed at midnight on 31 March 2026, we will be in touch regarding the next steps, which will include attending a international information and selection day on either Saturday 20 or Sunday 21 June 2026 in London, so please add this date to your diary now. The intention is to be able to offer and confirm places by the end of July 2026.
