An international trip with Girlguiding offers a unique and enriching experience that goes far beyond travel. This summer, four region groups had incredible international adventures spanning Europe, South East Asia and Japan. Young members from across our region had the opportunity to discover new cultures, challenge themselves and create lifelong memories. Travelling away from home with Girlguiding and new group of friends and leaders gave our young members new found confidence and independence, and inspired them to travel in the future. One very special part of an international Girlguiding trip is the opportuning to connect with Girl Guides and Girl Scouts from other countries, reminding us that we are part of a global movement of like-minded girls and women.

2025 International Adventures
Pad Thai Pathways - Backpacking South East Asia
This group had an adventure-filled journey across Southeast Asia with an itinerary packed with cultural discovery, exploring Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Siem Reap, Phnom Penh, and Ho Chi Minh City.

Wandering Noodles - Backpacking in South East Asia
The Wandering Noodles set off on their journey to Southeast Asia! They explored Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand.

Sakura Squad - Exploring Japan
The Sakura Squad set off on an unforgettable Girlguiding adventure across Japan! They explored Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Kobe, Osaka and Nara.

Trails and Rails - Interrailing Europe
Trails and Rails had an incredible interrailing adventure, journeying from the UK through Romania, Hungary, Poland, Austria, Slovenia, Switzerland, and France!
“This trip was my first time abroad and to say the least I'll never forget it! This trip has given me so much. From new friends for life to the many new and exciting things I've experienced. I couldn't recommend it enough! And I'm now the one in charge of catching trains in my family so it's a win for everyone”
