Lady Mayor's Show
Members from London South West county represented Girlguiding at this much-loved historic event, and, for the first time in its 800-year history, this world-famous Lord Mayor’s Show was Lady Mayor’s Show! Not only did they fly the flag for the Girlguiding sections, they also waved eye-catching handmade flags to represent Girlguiding badges. Meanwhile, Girlguiding Surrey East had the very important job of helping to run the feeding station at the show, making sure everyone had lunch!
YOU London float
Young members from Greater London West also joined in with other uniformed youth organisations from around the capital on the YOU London float, along with 2nd Rayne's Park Guides' original flag from 1946!
