We gathered at May-hem!

Over 6,000 Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers joined together and took part in a wide range of activities from giant inflatables, to the silent disco, Bhangra dancing, story telling and meeting animals and dinosaurs!

In addition, we were joined by our region's ambassadors and partner organisations including RSPB, RFU, Allergy UK, and KSS Air Ambulance who gave people the opportunity to learn CPR and using a defibrillator and an air ambulance flew over at lunch time.

My personal highlight was listening to the chatter amongst a group of Brownies who had met and become friends whilst doing an activity and seeing the wonder that they are part of this amazing big guiding family. It was a fantastic day and I hope gave experience and memories that will last for a long time.

Thank you to everyone who made May-hem happen, from event lead Tamsin and the core team of volunteers, to everyone who came to help set-up, deliver and set-down the event and to all the commissioners, unit leaders and helpers who organised getting everyone to, from and around the site – you all made May-hem happen.

I feel amazed and excited to be here with all these Brownies.
