Unveiled: 2026 region international trip badges

Planning is well underway for the region's 2026 international trips this summer. Meet the groups, find out where they're going, and discover the inspiration behind the badges they've created to help fundraise for their trips.

Super Troupers

Hello! We are the Super Troupers, a group of 12 young people and 4 leaders from across Girlguiding London and South East England. We will be heading to the Swedish National Jamboree in Norra Åsum, followed by a week’s travelling in Scandinavia.

Our very first meeting as a team was at our first prep weekend in September 2025. As a group, we designed this badge and came up with our team name - the Super Troupers! We are all really excited to explore Scandinavia, especially the fjords and mountains, which feature on our badge. We also wanted to include references to our group name inspiration, hence the music notes and our group mascot Moose (whose name is yet to be decided on!)

We decided that, although we’ll be travelling separately, the badges for both Super Troupers and Guiding Glaciers should be able to link together, as ultimately we’re both heading to the Swedish Jamboree. You may even want to pair it with the badge from the Guiding Glaciers as they pair nicely together.

Our badge costs £1.50 excluding postage and packaging. There is also a challenge pack available, which is optional. If you'd like to buy a badge and help support us on our international adventure, please email sblaser26@gmail.com.

Guiding Glaciers

We are the Guiding Glaciers aka Sweden Yellow. Our badge was designed collaboratively as a unit. It features our unit mascot Quackers the Duck, wearing a Viking hat. The purple flowers represent the national flower of Sweden, the harebell. The snowflakes and our name represent the frosty weather experienced in Scandinavia in winter, although we’re hoping for sunshine during our trip! Our badge co-ordinates with Sweden Blue’s badge, so they look great as a pair. We are creating a badge pack which will be available soon. If anyone would like to buy a badge you can buy one from a member or the team, or by emailing lasersweden26y@gmail.com.

Train Blazers

We are the Train Blazers, a Girlguiding London and South East England group of 12 young members and 4 leaders heading across Europe in 2026 on an unforgettable international adventure. Our aim is to take girls to places they’ve never been before, from the big, bustling cities to the quiet, hidden corners they’ll grow to love, with adventures that challenge, inspire and create lifelong memories.

Our badge captures this sense of exploration and freedom, featuring a girl paddleboarding, a nod to the spirit of adventure that drives our journey. Whether it’s trying something new, connecting with others, or seeing the world from a different perspective, the Train Blazers are ready to explore every moment.

Badges are £1.50 each. If you’d like to purchase one or find out more about our upcoming challenge pack (available ahead of Spring Term 2026), please contact us at europe2026laser@gmail.com. All proceeds go towards supporting our international trip.

Our Instagram is called @trainblazers2026
