March 2020 blogging memo

Welcome to your March blogging memo!

Thank you to those of you who got in touch with us since our memo last month, letting us know the sorts of blogs you like to read and what you'd like to see more of. Want to blog but not sure where to start? We've got just the thing. We've created some handy hints and tips for how to write a blog for the website, with some links to previous blogs that have been popular with readers. You can access this in the Resources section of the Girlguiding LaSER website.

It was World Thinking Day in February, and units across the region celebrated in their meetings. How did you celebrate #WTD2020? We'd love to hear whether you took part in any of the WAGGGS activities and how they were received in your unit!

We always want to cover everything that guiding has to offer, so whatever you're doing or wherever you're going - we want to hear from you!

What have we been blogging about?

Since our last memo we've had some great blogs posted.

• The Hive have written about their February Badge of the Month - Cooking. What a great way to try out some new recipes!
• Claire has written a brave blog about her anxiety, and how she's overcome her fears through her experience as a young leader.
• February was LGBT+ History Month, so we've had a blog from The Hive on this year's theme, as well as one on their top LGBT+ book recommendations.
• Jo has written about her international trip to Peru - what an experience!
